What are we all about?

What is NSSLHA?

NSSLHA is an acronym that stands for:
National Student Speech Language & Hearing
Association

Now that you know what NSSLHA stands for, what is it really all about?
This organization is made up of college students majoring in speech-language pathology and audiology. There are chapters at many universities. This is the Marshall University chapter. Click here for more information on the national chapter of NSSLHA.

So, how do you join?
The major requirement to join the MU chapter is that you have to be a CD major at Marshall University. You can be in undergraduate or graduate school. For more information about joining NSSLHA at Marshall or the national chapter, see one of the officers. This link has also been provided to give you more information about joining the national chapter.

Why should you join?

  • To learn more about the professions.
  • To become more aware of the
    issues that Speech Pathologists &
    Audiologists are facing.
  • To get to know your classmates better.
  • To get more involved in the community
    & at Marshall.
